Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do you only clean carpets in homes or do you also clean carpets in businesses?
A: We clean carpet, upholstery, and drapery no matter where it is. Commercial, residential, or recreational. Any size. Any place. Our core target market is Tampa and the surrounding 35-45 mile radius. Some exceptions may apply.
Q: What method of cleaning do you use?
A: As professionals, we are trained in using all of the cleaning methods. We normally use the method recommended/required by the carpet manufacturer. In most cases this will be hot water extraction, also known as steam cleaning, per your request we could perform dry cleaning.
Q: How often should my carpet be cleaned?
A: Most manufacturers will recommend having your carpets professionally cleaned at least once every 12 months. But that number does depend on some different use factors, such as traffic, frequency of vacuuming, having pets and/or children and whether the carpet is light or dark. Stain protecting (also known as scotch guarding) also makes a difference in how often you have to clean your carpets. A majority of our clients prefer to have their carpets cleaned twice a year.
Q: How soon can I walk on it?
A: Keep pets, children and regular traffic off of the carpet for a period of 6 hours. The home owner may use the carpet lightly immediately after cleaning by wearing the plastic booties we provide. Wait 24 hours before removing foam blocks and plastic tabs that are put in place to protect the furniture and carpet. Some carpets may still feel slightly damp for up to 24 hours depending on carpet, soiling condition and weather. This is normal and will not cause any problems.
Q: Should I have my tile & grout cleaned?
A: Just like carpet, dirt builds up over time dulling your tile’s appearance and discoloring your grout. A thorough, professional tile & grout cleaning is the only way to remove the deep-down dirt.
Q: How long will it take to clean my carpets?
A: On average, it will take approximately 20 minutes per room. This time can vary greatly depending on the amount of furniture to be moved, how soiled the carpet is, and any necessary spot removal treatments.
